Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced professionals to join our Investment Banking team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in Financial Modelling: Experienced in operating and non-operating cash flow modelling, levered and debt cash flow, JV & waterfall, building and auditing financial models for multifamily, office, industrial and retail assets classes.
  • Argus Valuation Models: Develop single property and portfolio Argus valuation models, lease abstracting, lease review, and audit, performing cash flow and rent roll analysis.
  • Commercial Property Valuations: Apply different valuation approaches – income capitalization approach (DCF & direct capitalization), sales comparison approach, and cost approach to perform valuations for different commercial real estate properties.
  • Income Statement and Balance Sheet Modelling: Understand revolver, interest expense & circularity, model future development, FFO & CAD, build and audit REIT valuation and NAV models.
  • Pitch Books and Reports: Prepare pitch books, information memorandums, industry studies, company profiles, and company focused discussion documents related to various industries.
  • M&A Deal Run and Target Screening: Conduct M&A deal run and potential target & buyer screenings using databases including Greenstreet, RCA, Argus, Costar, Capital IQ, PitchBook, Mergermarket, FactSet etc.

Meet project timelines and quality of deliverables to ensure high client satisfaction. Conduct analysis & perform quality control check of outgoing reports / packs. Other activities include structuring deliverables & developing new capabilities / new research products.

Required Background:

  • Post-Graduation in Finance or equivalent qualification (CFA, MBA (finance), CA or equiv.).
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in the Investment banking space or commercial real estate valuation.
  • Strong statistical and analytical skills to assess economic performance / analysis of companies and industries for clients.
  • The candidate should have the ability to work independently and possess management / leadership skills to run the research on a day-to-day basis.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills with experience in Client handling.
  • Working knowledge of databases such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Thomson Research, FactSet etc.
  • Well versed with MS Office suite specially Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
