Senior Project Owner - Information Security Officer

This is a high-level position responsible for the development and execution of security controls, procedures, and protocols across the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation of security policies and standards to maintain a robust security posture.
  • Evaluate ongoing compliance with relevant frameworks and regulations including ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, and others as applicable.
  • Conduct regular reviews of security practices, identify gaps or vulnerabilities, and ensure timely remediation.
  • Review, update, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to maintain a strong security posture.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive records of security activities, compliance status, and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in information security, compliance, or risk management.
  • Expertise: Strong background in implementing and managing security programs aligned with global standards.
Skills:
  • Deep understanding of information security principles, technologies, and best practices(e.g., access control, network security, data encryption).
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT environments, cloud services, and operational models.
  • Knowledge of U.S. security standards and regulatory requirements.
