Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Reservoir Engineer to join our team at ExxonMobil. As a Reservoir Engineer, you will play a critical role in analyzing field performance, advising on improving recovery, and implementing development plans. You will work closely with engineers on global teams to integrate adjacent disciplines and monitor reservoir data to provide insights and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze field performance data to advise on improving recovery and optimizing reservoir management
  • Collaborate with engineers on global teams to integrate adjacent disciplines and implement development plans
  • Monitor reservoir data to provide insights and recommendations to improve field performance
  • Develop and implement reservoir simulation models to predict field performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Generate reports and presentations to communicate field performance and recommendations to stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in reservoir engineering, with a strong background in reservoir simulation and analysis
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide insightful recommendations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with reservoir simulation software, such as Eclipse or CMG
  • Knowledge of machine learning and data science principles
  • Experience with programming languages, such as Python or MATLAB
