Strategic Product Design Director

As a seasoned product design director, you will balance tactical day-to-day design management with strategic thinking to ensure your team's work aligns with both immediate product needs and long-term business growth.
This role involves collaboration across departments, managing team capacity, and driving design initiatives that deliver measurable outcomes for both the business and users.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive design excellence by optimizing processes and workflows, improving efficiency, and ensuring consistent, high-quality design outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in product, engineering, and other departments to ensure design solutions align with business objectives and user needs.
- Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation, encouraging designers to think creatively and take calculated risks.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- 8+ years of product design experience, with a strong track record of delivering design solutions for web, mobile, or desktop platforms.
- At least 3 years of experience leading or mentoring a team of UX and visual designers.
- Expertise in design processes, systems, and tools like Figma or Miro, with experience optimizing workflows and improving team efficacy.
