Math Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our organization and assume the role of math quality assurance engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and executing simulation code to analyze math data.

  • Develop and execute simulation code to analyze math data.
  • Review and refine math formulas and math sheet information.
  • Develop and execute test plans and test scripts for verifying math data.
  • Follow all Work Instructions on a daily basis.
  • Submit and track any issues found during verification to ensure they are resolved.
  • Utilize databases for quality assurance and testing.
  • Provide input to the weekly project status report for each assigned project.
  • Provide detailed Completion Report at the end of each project.
  • Interface with Development members to communicate and resolve reported issues in a timely manner.
  • Reproduce issues when necessary to assist software development in resolving issues.
  • Responsible for project escalations for each assigned project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advanced understanding of software test methodologies/procedures and the overall product development lifecycle.
  • Knowledge or experience with Math fundamentals (Statistics and probability).
  • Proficiency with analytical and logical skills.
  • Knowledge or experience with C/C++/C# programming.
  • Knowledge or experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge or experience with Python or other shell scripting languages a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with other team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Capable of providing input and potential solutions to identified issues.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Capable of working and completing tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multi-task.

Requirements:

  • M.Sc / B.Sc. (Statistics), M.Sc. / B.Sc. (Applied Mathematics)
  • Expert in probability.

Experience:

  • 0.6 Months to 4 years
