We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. As a HITRUST-certified Business Associate operating in the healthcare space, we prioritize data security and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

This role plays a critical part in safeguarding sensitive health information, building trust with clients, and ensuring regulatory adherence across the organization.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead security awareness training sessions for employees, fostering a culture of compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal teams and external clients regarding compliance-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Coordinate meetings, compliance walkthroughs, and documentation reviews with IT, HR, Legal, and client teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to assist in client assessments, RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires.
  • Work closely with IT and operations to implement and maintain robust Change Management and Access Control practices.
  • Support incident response efforts by maintaining logs and facilitating communication between teams.
  • Manage internal documentation, including policies, procedures, training materials, and reports.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and communicate implications to relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in compliance, data privacy, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable conducting presentations, hosting sessions, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and organized approach to work.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and flexible work arrangements to support U.S.-based clients.
