About the Role
The Senior Associate Financial Accountant is responsible for preparing routine financial reports, processing journal entries, and reconciling balance sheet accounts. This role assists with management and preparation of budgets and offers financial recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with implementation, control, and monitoring of periodic compliance testing.
- Support management of overall financial forecasting processes.
- Review financial records to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
- Regularly review tax calculations and reports to ensure compliance.
- Analyze journals, produce data analysis and reports, and assist with variance analysis.
- Assemble annual audit information for external auditors.
- Implement effective financial controls, including systems reconciliations and ensuring the integrity of reported figures.
- Proactively support activities of the accounts receivable function within the assigned business unit.
- Process month-end activities, including preparation and processing of month-end journal entries and reconciling accounts.
- Perform cash management activities and produce bank reconciliations for company bank accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or related field.
- Modest experience gained in a similar position.
- Experience working with accounting software.
