The successful candidate will collaborate with the company founders, product team, and API engineers to develop a user-friendly interface that meets the requirements of farmers. You will ideate, design, implement, and maintain the product's mobile app, as well as design the UX and develop the application's front-end interfaces.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with our product team and farming partners to understand their work and build an app that meets their needs.
  • Maintain high engineering and coding standards.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in building mobile apps using React Native.
  • Proficient in the Typescript ecosystem, including monorepos.
  • A thorough understanding of the interface guidelines for Apple and Android apps.
  • A history of submitting apps on the App Store and the Play Store.
  • The ability to debug and optimize complex systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with our mapping libraries in React Native or Native frameworks.
  • An understanding of the native iOS and Android ecosystems.
  • A good knowledge of UX best practices for SaaS based interfaces & AI.
  • Contributions to open-source projects.

Your first six months will involve working on a project to build a mobile app that allows farmers to see their farm map with multiple layers and annotations. You will integrate with APIs to let farmers view their livestock on the map.
