Senior Software Developer

Our client, a leading provider of software solutions, is seeking a skilled Senior Software Developer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and documenting complex programs and scripts, as well as providing technical support and executing application deployment.

The ideal candidate should have expertise in C# with .NET 8, API development, SQL Server, and other cutting-edge technologies. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

The role requires:

  • Designing, coding, testing, correcting, and documenting complex programs and scripts from agreed specifications
  • Installing, configuring, customizing, and integrating standard software
  • Implementing and executing module/component tests and providing technical documentation
  • Executing technical application support
  • Supporting the deployment and training of the application into the production environment

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in C# with .NET 8
  • Experience in API Development (WCF/REST), SQL Server, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with TFS/GIT and ability to prioritize business impact and urgency
  • Quick learner with knowledge of general architectural patterns and writing secure software

Good-to-have skills include:

  • Knowledge of .Net core, .Net, SAML, and secure programming
  • Experience with Cloud Technologies (Containers of .Net Applications) and Azure DevOps
  • Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, agile patterns, and insurance business
  • Proficiency in Resharper

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Proven experience as a Senior Software Developer or similar role
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Relevant certifications in software development and cloud technologies are a plus
