Job Title: Technical Instrumentation Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Professional to lead the effort to develop, assign, and manage maintenance strategies for field instrumentation equipment.

Purpose & Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical activities covering all key areas of instrumentation technology including field instruments, control systems, and shutdown valves.
  • Review and update equipment maintenance strategy for instrumentation (e.g. transmitters, control valves, flow meters).
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.
  • Understand asset criticality analysis and asset management strategies.
  • Understand Preventive, Predictive, Condition monitoring tasks with respect to assets.
  • Standardize instrumentation maintenance procedures and test intervals across similar asset classes.
  • Knowledge of hazardous area classification, international instrumentation standards.
  • Skilled in Instrument Maintenance Techniques with understanding of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of field instrumentation, including control valves, on-off valves, and various field instruments.
