Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Android Developer to join our team. As an Android Developer, you will play a key role in designing and building innovative mobile applications for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop advanced Android applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Work with external data sources and APIs
  • Implement best practices while developing apps and maintain well-structured code
  • Communicate with project managers regarding project status and suggest deadlines for new functionalities
  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
  • Perform time profiling and memory leaks assessment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • Proven software development experience and Android skills development
  • Proven working experience in Android app development and have published at least one original Android app
  • Experience with Git, Jenkins, or other version control tools
  • Experience with the Android SDK
  • Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
  • Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
  • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
