Technical Director Position

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Technical Director to lead our technical function and drive the growth of our sports technology company.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up best practices, architecting new feature development, and mentoring a young and enthusiastic team of developers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the entire technical function — strategy, execution, and delivery.
  • Establish and enforce development best practices.
  • Architect and oversee new feature development to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Mentor and upskill a young and talented team of developers.
  • Collaborate closely with product and business teams to translate vision into technical solutions.
Requirements:
  • 8-12 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2+ years leading teams.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in modern tech stacks (Node.js, React, AWS, microservices, databases).
  • Proven experience scaling consumer-facing or marketplace products.
  • A builder's mindset — comfortable switching between strategy and execution.
