We are seeking a seasoned Business Risk Analyst with expertise in catastrophe modeling to join our team.
As a Business Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis of catastrophic events and their potential impact on businesses and communities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting detailed analysis of catastrophic events and their potential effects on businesses and communities
- Utilizing advanced analytics techniques to develop models and scenarios for assessing and predicting catastrophe risk
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Staying updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve catastrophe analysis processes
To succeed as a Business Risk Analyst, you should possess:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Risk Management
- 3 years of experience in analytics with a focus on catastrophe analysis or risk assessment
- Proficiency in analytical tools such as R, Python, or SQL
- Strong communication skills and ability to present complex findings in a clear and concise manner
- Knowledge of catastrophe modeling software and methodologies is a plus
