Procurement Specialist

The key objective of this role is to effectively source and purchase materials required by the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with the Materials Manager to allocate suppliers based on vendor capacity, location, and organizational requirements. This involves conducting market research to stay updated on new products and suppliers, as well as coordinating team operations within the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurment of materials in line with organizational needs
  • Assisting the Materials Manager in supplier allocation and management
  • Market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Coordinating team operations and ensuring effective communication
  • Evaluating user needs and functionality of procured materials
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in procurement or a similar role
  • Strong analytical skills with data interpretation and trend identification
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with procurement software
  • Knowledge of inventory control, optimization techniques, and compliance requirements
Additional Information:
  • Fluency in English and Nepali; knowledge of other regional languages is a plus
  • Familiarity with local suppliers and market trends in Nepal
