Sustaining Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustaining Engineer to join our team. As a Sustaining Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and quality of our products throughout their lifecycle.

  • Develop and implement sustaining engineering principles and practices to minimize product failures and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Service, to drive product improvements and resolve complex issues.
  • Analyze and investigate product defects, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Design and implement process improvements, reducing costs and increasing efficiency throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on sustaining engineering best practices, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven expertise in sustaining engineering, with a strong understanding of product lifecycle management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and levels.
  • Experience with design changes, engineering change requests (ECR/ECO), and change management.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards (ISO 13485).
