Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead the development of our Entity Resolution and Network Generation services. This role demands exceptional technical expertise, strategic thinking, and effective communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of distributed computing, big data systems, and graph algorithms. Strong experience with Apache Spark, Elasticsearch, and Scala programming is essential. Additionally, proficiency in designing microservices architectures, API design, and performance optimization is required.

This position requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive large-scale projects from conception to delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement entity resolution algorithms for high-performance processing of billions of entities.
  • Develop and optimize graph analytics pipelines using GraphX/GraphFrames.
  • Implement real-time search and matching capabilities using Elasticsearch.
  • Build scalable systems for efficient data storage and retrieval.
Requirements:Technical Expertise:
  • 7+ years of experience in distributed computing and big data systems.
  • 5+ years specifically in entity resolution and graph analytics at scale.
  • Expert-level Scala programming skills.
  • Deep experience with Apache Spark, including custom optimizations.
Domain Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of blocking algorithms and their trade-offs.
  • Experience with probabilistic record linkage and similarity measures.
  • Expertise in graph algorithms and their distributed implementations.
