System Engineer for Climate Control Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to join our team and take on the challenge of designing and developing climate control systems for our vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system engineering, thermal management, and vehicle systems. They will be responsible for defining the requirements and specifications for the climate control system, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain system requirements and specifications for climate control systems
  • Collaborate with thermal management engineers to design and develop efficient cooling and heating systems
  • Work with simulation analysts to analyze and optimize system performance
  • Verify test results and recommend improvements to ensure compliance with regulations and customer expectations
  • Secure legal and certification requirements for the vehicle's climate control system
  • Lead and own system FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) for climate control systems
  • Responsible for QDCF (Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Feature) of climate control systems
  • Support component engineers with performance targets and durability requirements
  • Define level 4 (system) time plans and milestones using APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)
  • Manage Q-Tools such as D-FMEA, S-FMEA, Risk Register, DFA (Manufacturing), and DFAM (After Market)
  • Take full engineering responsibility and guide junior team members within Thermal Management groups
Requirements:
  • Strong background in system engineering, thermal management, and vehicle systems
  • Experience with system design, development, and testing
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in tools such as D-FMEA, S-FMEA, and APQP
