Marketing Manager Job Description

The role of Marketing Manager is a strategic position that involves planning and executing impactful marketing campaigns across various channels to drive brand visibility, customer engagement, and footfall to stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with business goals, including Above-the-Line (ATL) and Below-the-Line (BTL) activities.
  2. Plan and implement in-store promotions, branding, signage, visual merchandising, and events to enhance customer experience.
  3. Manage print, outdoor, radio, and other media campaigns to ensure consistent brand visibility.
  4. Oversee local store marketing initiatives to drive footfall and sales.
  5. Liaise with vendors, agencies, and creative partners for campaign execution.
  6. Monitor competitor activities and market trends to design innovative campaigns.
  7. Track ROI and effectiveness of campaigns, preparing performance reports and analytics for management.
  8. Collaborate with operations and sales teams to ensure smooth execution of promotions.
  9. Ensure all activities are within approved timelines.
  10. Drive brand partnerships and collaborations for additional visibility.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of marketing channels in the retail sector.
  • Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Strong project management, planning, and execution ability.
  • Creative thinker with an eye for brand aesthetics and customer experience.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills to track campaign performance.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • MBA/PGDM in Marketing or related field.
  • 6–10 years of experience in offline/retail marketing.
  • Proven track record of handling ATL/BTL activities in retail.
  • Experience in managing multi-location marketing campaigns preferred.
