IT Sourcing Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Sourcing Expert to join our team. As an IT Sourcing Expert, you will be responsible for managing relationships with key stakeholders, developing client stakeholder matrices, and ensuring effective communication across the organization.

This role requires a strong understanding of IT sourcing and contracting, as well as excellent negotiation and project management skills. The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of experience in strategic sourcing, preferably in an international environment.

You will be responsible for analyzing spend and contracts to identify sourcing opportunities, formulating cost models for business needs, and working with clients and colleagues to define IT strategies and sourcing plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Relationship Management:
  • Foster collaboration and communication with clients and colleagues to deliver business goals.
  • Develop client stakeholder matrices and maintain regular engagement.
  • Ensure effective supplier relationship management.
Sourcing Planning:
  • Analyze spend and contracts to identify sourcing opportunities.
  • Formulate cost models for business needs.
  • Work with clients and colleagues to define IT strategies and sourcing plans.
Management of Sourcing Initiatives:
  • Lead IT sourcing projects from start to finish.
  • Deliver allocated savings targets through effective management of sourcing initiatives.
  • Adhere to defined sourcing policies and processes.
Sourcing Support:
  • Provide sourcing expertise and solutions to support client engagements.
  • Support sourcing planning and execution of projects in a dynamic environment.

Requirements:

  • University degree in economics or Supply Management, or industry experience equivalent.
  • Additionally sourced certification is advantageous.
  • Strong English language skills (required).

Experience:

  • 12-15 years of experience in strategic sourcing, ideally in an international environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Strong sourcing and contracting experience in IT Infrastructure Products and Services, Office IT Products and Services, and Cloud and Datacenter services.
  • Deep understanding of License Model, Service Models, IT – Applications and InfraStructure.
  • Ability to negotiate and maintain relationships with third-party vendors like IBM, Oracle, Wipro, and small OEMs.
