Chief Financial Strategist

As a senior financial executive, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire spectrum of Accounting, Finance, and Planning functions across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct end-to-end accounting processes, encompassing General Ledger, journal entries, month-end close, accruals, and intercompany transactions
  • Maintain accurate Balance Sheet schedules and ensure clean Trial Balance on a monthly basis
  • Lead the Record to Report (R2R), Inventory Accounting, Treasury & Cash Management processes
  • Oversight of Procure to Pay (P2P) and Order to Cash (O2C) workflows
  • Manage tax compliance in Ireland and Australia (BAS, VAT3, CT1) including reconciliations and filings
  • Handle treasury operations, including cash flow management and forecasting
Requirements:
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in Finance & Accounts with proven track record
  • Strong understanding of Australian and Irish tax/compliance requirements
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Dynamics 365
  • Experience in reporting: Power BI, Tableau, Excel (Advanced – Pivot/Macros)
  • Desirable experience in pharma, biotech, or manufacturing sectors

The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions.

In addition, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
