Purchase Senior Executive

Overview of the Role:

Our organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced procurement expert to lead strategic sourcing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in automotive ancillary procurement, holding an MBA in Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procure raw materials, components, consumables, and tooling for manufacturing operations by negotiating prices, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers.
  • Evaluate and onboard suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Raise and monitor purchase orders aligned with production schedules and inventory levels.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives and track market trends.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end procurement alignment.
  • Maintain documentation for audits, vendor evaluations, and management reporting.
  • Assist in new product development (NPD) sourcing activities.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: MBA in Operations Management.
  • Experience: 3-4 years of hands-on procurement experience in an automotive ancillary environment.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, relationship management, basic knowledge of ERP systems, familiarity with automotive standards, and proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
