About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle Database Administrator to join our team at Swift Strategic Staff Solutions INC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle database systems that meet the high standards of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- 5 to 10 years of experience as an Oracle Core Database Engineer DBA

- Extensive knowledge and solid troubleshooting experience in RAC, ASM, Performance Tuning, Data Guard, Physical and Logical DG Broker

- Experience in handling complex database backup and recovery scenarios using RMAN

- Experience in database migrations and upgrades

- Experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

- Experience in troubleshooting various installation and patching issues

- Experience in database monitoring using Oracle Enterprise Manager including target management installation HA configuration and administration of OEM incident and alert management monitoring templates DBLM Integration with ticketing tool

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of Grafana is preferred

- Knowledge of Middleware WebLogic is preferred

- Experience in Oracle engineered systems like Exadata

- Good to have knowledge in OS administration Linux Solaris virtualization storage ZFS ZDLRA

Requirements:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work under pressure quick thinking and remaining calm during stressful situations

- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical issues

- Appetite to learn new technologies and constantly improve technical skills
