Cloud Infrastructure Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing and maintaining AWS Cloud Infrastructure, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Redshift, ECS, Route 53, Load Balancers, Auto Scaling, Cost Explorer, and other services.

  • Design and build scalable and secure AWS environments using Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Configure and manage ECS/EKS clusters, deployments, and performance-based scaling.
  • Automate infrastructure setup and deployment using Docker images, Docker Hub, and AMIs.
  • Set up new environments based on specific requirements and industry best practices.
  • Manage IAM roles, policies, and user groups for secure access control.
  • Setup and manage RDS databases (MySQL, Redshift, PostgreSQL, MariaDB) and intranet user access.
  • Specialized knowledge in network configurations using VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, NAT Gateways, Internet Gateways, Route 53, WAF, and others.
  • Experience in DevOps and CI/CD processes, proficient with Bitbucket/GitHub, ServiceNow, and Jira.
  • Strong background in cost analysis and resource optimization using Trusted Advisor, Cost Explorer, and tagging.
  • Upgrade AMIs, apply patches, and manage maintenance windows.
  • Monitor AWS environments using New Relic, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and others.
  • Understand cloud architecture best practices and security guidelines.
  • Document SOPs, create knowledge bases, and maintain technical documentation.
