Pricing Insights Role Overview

The Pricing Analytics team supports pricing managers in defining and optimizing pricing strategies across channels.

We leverage advanced analytics to forecast/measure the impact of pricing actions, develop strategic price zones, recommend price changes, and identify sales/margin opportunities.

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for developing statistical approaches/models for business problems, including price testing, change, post-mortem, and category review.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide cluster-specific data analytics, including dashboard development, reporting, and insights.
  • Research, design, and develop processes to gather, explore, structure, enrich, and clean large datasets from internal and external sources.
  • Analyze competitor demographics and performance for pricing across key categories.
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis for the pricing team.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations synthesizing multiple data sets to inform new decisions related to pricing.
Requirements:
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience.
Education Qualifications & Certifications (optional):
  • Bachelor's degree plus 3+ years' experience in an analytical role or 6+ years of relevant experience.
Skill Set Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, statistics, economics, or any other quantitative discipline plus 3+ years' experience in an analytical role.
  • Experience with data mining and visualization tools such as Power BI, Excel, GCP, and SQL.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to accumulate, evaluate, and generate insights from disparate data sources.
  • Story building with data – Presentations that depict results in a way that can be shared across levels and actionable insights.
  • Process Improvement/Automation experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
