Banking and Finance Operations Specialist

This role focuses on banking and finance operations. The ideal candidate will be a self-learner willing to take on any task and a good problem solver.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with banks for banking operations
  • Assist with daily cash management across various bank accounts
  • Produce daily MIS on liquidity
  • Obtain 15CA/CB
  • Prepare weekly payment summary
  • Review employee claims
  • Manage credit cards
  • Purchase licenses
  • Produce monthly payment reports for accounting
  • Assist with financing deals execution
  • Assist in Daily Portfolio Transfers, Investor Repayments, EMI Repayments
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations for India, covering disbursements, repayments, net cash, and third-party contracts
  • Record journal entries using NetSuite to support timely month-end close
  • Assist with timely payment of all statutory dues
  • Partner with departments on accruals, vendor management, and contracts management
  • Prepare and communicate timely and accurate monthly financial and management reports
  • Assist with monthly cash projections
  • Assist with annual external audit, completing requested materials

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Masters in finance or related areas
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience in a similar position
  • Experience in handling banking transactions
  • Fluent English
  • Highly entrepreneurial, proactive, and willing to get hands dirty
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Good grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Driven by data, highly analytical, and good understanding of Excel
