Financial Management and Reporting Expert

The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for managing the financial well-being of our organization. This includes preparing, analyzing, and presenting financial reports, as well as monitoring annual budgets and forecasts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and Present Financial Reports: Develop, analyze, and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Monitor Annual Budgets and Forecasts: Collaborate with department heads and Controllers to ensure that annual budgets and forecasts are met, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure Timely and Accurate Submission of Financial Reports: Oversee the submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management, ensuring that they are submitted on time and accurately reflect the organization's financial situation.
  • Provide Actionable Insights: Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making, helping the organization to optimize its financial performance.
  • Identify and Mitigate Financial Risks: Analyze financial data to identify potential risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Manage Cash Flow: Oversee the organization's cash flow, ensuring that there is sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs.
  • Optimize Working Capital: Identify opportunities to improve working capital, and implement strategies to optimize it.
  • Lead ERP Implementation: Lead the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, ensuring that they are implemented effectively and efficiently.
  • Monitor Internal Controls: Oversee internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Oversee Tax Compliance: Ensure that tax returns are prepared and filed accurately and on time, minimizing any financial exposure.
  • Stay Up-to-Date on Tax Regulations: Stay informed about changes in tax regulations, and their impact on the organization.
  • Lead and Mentor the Finance Team: Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
Requirements
  • Accounting Standards: Strong knowledge of accounting standards (Ind AS, IFRS, or GAAP), and regulatory compliance.
  • ERP Systems: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Tally Prime, Odoo), and advanced Excel.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical Mindset: Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Time Management: Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
