Lead Anaerobic Digestion Projects

We are seeking a seasoned Anaerobic Digestion Expert to drive innovation in biogas and organic waste-to-energy projects across India.

This is a high-impact role aligned with our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals and circular economy principles. As an AD expert, you will lead end-to-end project development – from feasibility studies to commissioning of commercial-scale anaerobic digestion plants.

  • Optimize digestion processes for diverse feedstocks (agri, municipal, industrial)
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractors, technology partners, and internal teams
  • Evaluate compliance with Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), and sustainability standards
  • Support ESG reporting and carbon credit initiatives
  • Mentor junior engineers and represent the company in technical forums
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A degree in Environmental/Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related fields
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in anaerobic digestion and biogas systems
  • A proven track record in commercial-scale AD plant design and operations
  • A strong grasp of process microbiology, gas upgrading, and digestate management
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience with international AD technologies
  • Knowledge of carbon markets and ROI modeling
  • Exposure to public-private partnerships or large industrial clients
