Job Overview

As a skilled Service Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance visits for Annual Maintenance Contract orders.
  • Calibrate machines and instruments at customer sites.
  • Prepare calibration certificates and submit them on time according to standards.
  • Submit service reports and checklists to the service planner for invoicing.
  • Analyze faults and failures with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components.
  • Determine the nature and scope of fault/damage and advise customers on follow-up procedures.
  • Communicate frequently with colleagues for timely submission of offers and proposals.
  • Advise customers on spares and consumables for smooth operations.
  • Plan customer visits in consultation with the service planner.
  • Utilize the CRM system to manage all service jobs.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of the Product Portfolio and Applications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automation/Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in servicing materials testing machines and instruments.
  • Working experience in measurement and analytical instruments or materials testing would be advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of materials testing and properties.
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Experience in customer support activity of materials testing machines.
  • Proficiency with PC software and good knowledge of MS Office programs.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Goal-oriented and flexible approach to work.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel and undergo continuous re-training.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Proficiency in English language.
