Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring efficient processing of purchase requisitions and timely delivery of materials to manufacturing sites.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure effective collaboration with suppliers to ensure no disruption to manufacturing processes.
  • Own the assigned suppliers and parts for the timely delivery of materials.
  • Maintain accurate records and data input in business systems.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing.
  • Drive on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Essential Skills:
  • Global supplier management experience.
  • SAP ECC MM module and MRP knowledge.
  • Ariba SCC knowledge preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with GMP's, product specifications, and incoming inspection procedures.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook required.
