Job Title: Sustainability Expert
About This Role:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sustainability Expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping our sustainability initiatives and ensuring their successful implementation.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect data from clients to ensure accuracy and adherence to defined requirements, including gathering, validating, verifying, and calculating data related to carbon footprint emissions (Scope 1, 2 & 3) and life cycle assessments.
- Support the creation of draft reports for carbon footprint, life cycle assessment, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives in line with established guidelines and frameworks.
- Assist with organizational administrative tasks as needed, including developing knowledge of ESG concepts and associated frameworks, building and maintaining a database of prospective clients, managing outreach activities to generate leads and engage with prospective customers, researching industries and organizations in target markets to identify opportunities and drive sales initiatives, conducting account mapping, understanding buyer personas, and scheduling meetings for the sales team, validating and qualifying accounts before adding them to the pipeline, applying independent research skills to source relevant information, familiarizing yourself with and effectively using the company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, and providing additional administrative support as needed.
- Degree in Environmental Engineering, Master of Science in Environmental Science, Bachelor of Engineering (any discipline), or a related academic background.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in assessing and/or applying ESG standards and performance best practices.
