Job Title: Maintenance and Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance and Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in machinery operations, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Job Description

The Maintenance and Operations Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Operating and monitoring machinery used in nutraceutical manufacturing as per standard operating procedures.
  • Setting up, calibrating, and adjusting machines to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Conducting routine equipment checks to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintaining product quality standards during machine operations in line with good manufacturing practices.
  • Recording machine operating data, production outputs, and downtime logs accurately.
  • Ensuring material feeding, changeovers, and line clearance are carried out as per requirements.
  • Reporting and escalating equipment malfunctions, breakdowns, or abnormalities promptly.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the candidate should have:

  • A strong understanding of machine operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of food safety, quality control, and hygienic practices.
  • Familiarity with good manufacturing practices, good hygiene practices, hazard analysis and critical control points, and regulatory guidelines.
  • The ability to conduct and document in-process checks accurately.
  • Attention to detail, ownership, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with supervisors, quality assurance, and maintenance teams.
