Our company is seeking a skilled software engineer with expertise in full-stack development to fill the position of Senior Lead Development Engineer. This individual will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of new technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the smooth operation of existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
  • Work closely with UI developers to create engaging user experiences.
  • Interface with various AWS infrastructure and services, deploying to Docker environments.
  • Coding, documentation, testing, debugging, and support of deployed applications.
  • Take ownership of code modules and lead code review processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and technical architects to formalize/document requirements.
  • Perform application & system performance tuning and troubleshoot performance issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Expertise in Python (minimum 5 years) and experience with AWS services, including API Gateway, ECS/Docker, DynamoDB, S3, Kafka, SQS.
  • SQL database experience, including proficiency in Postgres.
  • Experience with Python libraries, such as Pandas, NumPy, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating RESTful endpoints in Python (Flask, FastAPI, Sanic).
  • JavaScript and UI development experience, including one of the following: Vue 3, React, Angular.
  • REST API testing experience with Postman or Bruno.
  • Strong CI/CD build process experience using Jenkins.
  • Backend services development experience, including distributed libraries and packages in Python.
  • Experience with software testing (unit testing, integration testing, test-driven development).
