Deputy Business Head Role

We are seeking an exceptional Deputy Business Head to join our team, taking ownership of delegated operational areas and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

This strategic partner will support the division's mission to achieve revenue, margin, and operational excellence targets.

About This Role
  • Achieve business objectives by overseeing day-to-day operations, event planning logistics, and vendor management.
  • Develop and implement process improvements in supply chain, equipment management, and event delivery.
  • Benchmark performance against industry trends, recommending innovations to maintain services' competitiveness.
Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue Growth and Fiscal Management
  • Support the Annual Business Plan preparation and execution, monthly revenue forecasting, and expense control.
  • Lead P&L reviews for specific channels or projects, providing analysis on cost drivers, budget adherence, and profitability.
  • Implement and monitor event-level cost controls, addressing financial variances proactively.
  • Oversee receivables tracking, coordinating with finance teams for timely collections and minimizing revenue leakage.
  • Contribute to Opex and Capex planning by gathering operational input and aligning infrastructure requirements.
Operational Excellence and Quality Control
  • Ensure events are executed according to highest standards, emphasizing consistency and guest experience.
  • Manage event planning logistics, from menu creation to onsite coordination.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives, enhancing supply chain efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Benchmark performance against industry trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.
Customer Service and Support
  • Anticipate and meet guest needs, delivering personalized service aligned with brand promise and cost guidelines.
  • Handle guest inquiries or issues, ensuring resolution meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Maintain guest feedback databases to identify trends and shape service enhancements.
  • Institutionalize post-event debriefs for continuous improvement.
People Development and Culture
  • Partner with department heads on performance management, talent development, and team motivation programs.
  • Participate in recruitment and onboarding of key associates, fostering a culture of excellence and service.
  • Lead by example in setting standards for appearance, hygiene, and professionalism.
  • Champion staff training initiatives and recognize high performers, addressing performance gaps through constructive feedback.
