Job Title: EPS Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EPS software developer to join our team.

  • To develop, design, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions for the BASE 24 EPS system.
  • Configure and implement various modules of the BASE 24 EPS system as per requirements.
  • Develop migration scripts to ensure seamless transition of data between systems.
  • Configure interchange specifications for VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, JCB, and other card schemes.
  • Perform periodical mandates, updates, and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Customise and configure interfaces to meet specific business needs.
  • Configure and test terminals, ATMs, and interfaces to ensure smooth transaction processing.
  • Configure and integrate various host systems with the BASE 24 EPS system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions for the BASE 24 EPS system.
  • Configure and implement various modules of the BASE 24 EPS system.
  • Develop migration scripts to ensure seamless transition of data between systems.
  • Configure interchange specifications for VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, JCB, and other card schemes.
  • Perform periodical mandates, updates, and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Customise and configure interfaces to meet specific business needs.
  • Configure and test terminals, ATMs, and interfaces to ensure smooth transaction processing.
  • Configure and integrate various host systems with the BASE 24 EPS system.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in switch systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Base 24 eps.
  • Demonstratable experience in configuration, scripting, and use of SDK.
  • Experience/understanding on Australian and scheme compliance requirements.
  • Experience with interfacing with card schemes and card scheme formats.
  • Experience integrating Base 24 with other bank systems.
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills, including debugging and testing.
  • Strong experience in programming on C++ and Java.
  • Experience with Linux, VMware.
  • Preferably experience working on cloud systems (Azure, AWS).
  • Experience with ISO 8583, XML specifications.
  • Knowledge/experience in implementation/certifications of interchanges like VISA, MasterCard, Amex, and JCB.
