Job Opportunity: Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Expert

We seek a highly skilled and knowledgeable expert in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and procurement processes to design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs for procurement teams.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies, conducting hands-on training sessions on procurement processes, and providing expert guidance on contract negotiation, supplier risk assessment, and cost optimization techniques.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions on procurement processes, strategic sourcing, and vendor management.
  • Develop e-learning modules and instructional materials for procurement processes, supplier scorecards, and sourcing workflows.
  • Collaborate with procurement leaders, supply chain managers, and quality teams to align training with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Identify gaps in procurement processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Strategic Sourcing - experience in identifying, evaluating, and developing suppliers.
  • Vendor Management - including supplier evaluation, performance monitoring, and development programs.
  • Contract Negotiation - strong knowledge of commercial terms, SLAs, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Cost Reduction - proven track record in cost-saving initiatives and process optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or Business Administration with 10+ years of experience.
  • Certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, and CIPS are preferred but not required.
