Talentas seeks a highly skilled Senior E-commerce Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable e-commerce solutions for the retail domain.

We are looking for a talented individual with strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and WordPress architecture, as well as experience with Node.js and integrating RESTful APIs with PHP-based systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like Bootstrap.

Key Responsibilities:

WordPress Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins using PHP to ensure high-performance and scalability.
  • Optimize WordPress sites for performance, responsiveness, and scalability by implementing caching, database indexing, and code refactoring techniques.
  • Enhance WordPress functionalities tailored to retail and e-commerce needs, including product inventory management, customer engagement, and sales tracking.

PHP Development

  • Develop custom PHP modules and scripts to extend WordPress functionality, ensuring seamless integration with WooCommerce and other e-commerce platforms.
  • Debug and troubleshoot complex PHP code and backend integration issues to ensure smooth data exchange between WordPress and Node.js backend systems.

Node.js Integration

  • Integrate Node.js-based services with WordPress for real-time data synchronization and dynamic content delivery, leveraging RESTful APIs for efficient data exchange.
  • Work on API integrations to support features like product inventory, order management, and payment processing, ensuring a seamless user experience across the platform.
  • Implement security best practices to safeguard sensitive e-commerce data, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.

E-Commerce Features

  • Develop and customize WooCommerce for retail-specific workflows, including product search, checkout, and cart functionalities.
  • Integrate and configure payment gateways, shipping methods, and tax calculators to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, project managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and WordPress architecture, as well as experience with Node.js and integrating RESTful APIs with PHP-based systems.
  • Hands-on knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like Bootstrap.
  • Familiarity with WooCommerce and its customization, as well as experience with headless WordPress development and custom APIs.
