Cloud Security Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned security professional to lead our cloud security initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to work closely with cross-functional teams, driving the development of secure and reliable cloud-based solutions.

  • Conduct in-depth security assessments of our infrastructure, identifying vulnerabilities and developing strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve security incidents, develop and implement incident response plans, and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Perform thorough code reviews, working closely with developers to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle.
  • Implement and manage DevSecOps tools within the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring robust security controls and compliance.
  • Monitor and analyze logs, events, and metrics to identify potential security threats, prioritize risk mitigation, and drive continuous improvement.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • 5+ years of experience in security engineering, preferably in AWS Cloud, with expertise in at least two of the following areas: cloud security, web application security, incident response, threat hunting, and cyber security operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, best practices, and common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
