Job Description:

As a MES Engineer, you will be part of our MES CoE and will lead the AVEVA MES implementation, architecture, and design decisions.

The role involves designing, building, and supporting AVEVA MES applications for our customers. You will also collaborate with business and technology stakeholders on product feature implementations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing AVEVA MES applications
  • Collaborating with stakeholders on product features
  • Cleaning, preparing, and optimizing data for ingestion and consumption
  • Implementing continuous integration, test-driven development, and production deployment environments
  • Troubleshooting data issues and performing root cause analysis to proactively resolve product and operational issues
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate possesses the following skills and qualifications:

Experience: At least 1 end-to-end MES implementation experience

Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of MES platforms like AVEVA, GE Proficy, Rockwell FactoryTalk, Siemens

Manufacturing Data Models: Strong understanding of shop floor systems, manufacturing data models, and production operations (OEE, traceability, quality, scheduling)

Integration Expertise: Proficient in integrating MES/PLM with PLCs, SCADA systems, and ERP (SAP/Oracle)

Technical Design: Strong understanding of solution and technical design

Problem Solving: Has a strong problem-solving and analytical mindset

Communication: Able to influence and communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with team members and business stakeholders

Adaptability: Able to quickly pick up new programming languages, technologies, and frameworks

Complex Data Solutions: Fair understanding of developing complex data solutions

End-to-End Solution Design: Experience working on end-to-end solution design

Willingness to Learn: Willing to learn new skills and technologies
