Electrical Procurement Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Procurement Specialist to handle end-to-end procurement of electrical items, ensuring the right products are sourced at the right cost, on time, and as per technical requirements.

The successful candidate will have strong vendor management, negotiation, and technical understanding of electrical materials. They will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and finalizing vendors for electrical products, preparing price comparison sheets, and negotiating for the best pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate suitable vendors for electrical products (cables, switchgears, panels, etc.).
  • Prepare RFQs, price comparison sheets, and negotiate with vendors for optimal pricing and delivery schedules.
  • Review and interpret SLDs (Single Line Diagrams) and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) to ensure purchases meet project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurements, including quotations, POs, payments, and approvals.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams for dispatches, tracking, and resolving any delays or discrepancies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in electrical trading company procurement.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
