Accounts Assistant Role

As a key member of our team, the Accounts Assistant will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling financial records. This includes ledgers, bank statements, and accounts payable/receivable. Additionally, you will prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain accurate financial records to ensure compliance with regulations.
  2. Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  3. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment collection.
  4. Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring timely submissions.
  5. Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budgetary compliance.
  6. Conduct regular financial audits to identify discrepancies and implement solutions.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to facilitate audits and financial reviews.
  8. Assist in preparing financial forecasts, budgets, and projections.
  9. Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

To excel in this role, you should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A solid understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in accounting software are also essential.
