Senior Java Architect Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and own the end-to-end architecture of our next-generation platforms.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical design discussions and decision-making.
  3. Ensure system scalability, performance, security, and maintainability through effective architectural strategies.
  4. Define and enforce security architecture, threat models, and compliance standards to protect sensitive data.
  5. Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to deliver high-quality products.
  6. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams to foster innovation and excellence.
  7. Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions that meet customer needs.
  8. Conduct code and design reviews to maintain architectural standards and best practices.
  9. Maintain documentation of architecture and technical decisions to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • 12+ years of software development experience, with at least 4+ years in an architectural role.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Microservices.
  • Strong experience in architecting scalable, distributed systems using event-driven architecture and message brokers like Kafka.
  • Proven knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Solid understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for efficient product delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience in secure coding practices, threat modeling, and security compliance.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks-particularly React-for seamless full-stack integration.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
