Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data ETL Specialist to work with our client in Pune location.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing data integration processes using ETL tools to ensure seamless data flow from various sources. The primary goal is to optimize data processing efficiency while maintaining high data quality standards.

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable ETL pipelines using Informatica and other tools. Strong proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts is required. Proficiency in Python programming and GCP services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage) for data ingestion, transformation, and storage is also essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing data models following data warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
  • Developing automation scripts using Python to improve data processing efficiency.
  • Leveraging GCP services for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable datasets and insights.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts.
  • Proficient in Python programming and GCP services.
  • Understanding of data governance, quality, and performance best practices.
