Assistant Vice President for Health Information Management

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Assistant Vice President for Health Information Management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in healthcare coding, leadership, and management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coding Certification: Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), or Certified Coding Associate (CCA)
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of managing senior-level team members and ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met
  • Coding Expertise: In-depth knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS, and other coding systems
  • Operational Excellence: Deliver high-performance results from associates at various levels
  • Project Implementation: Develop and implement strategic plans to meet client requirements and goals

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Experience: Minimum 16 years of medical coding experience
  • Leadership Role: Minimum 1.5 years of experience as a Director or equivalent
  • Certification: Certified by AAPC/AHIMA
  • Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
