Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Theatre Operating Specialist with strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient outcomes. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our operating theatres, working closely with surgeons, anesthetists, and other medical staff to provide seamless patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage operating theatres, maintaining a sterile environment and accurate instrument counts.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and support anesthetists during procedures, fostering a culture of patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and other medical professionals to ensure efficient operations and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Degree in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or B.Sc. Nursing.
  • Current registration with the relevant nursing council.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in theatre settings, preferably in accredited hospitals.
  • Excellent teamwork, attention to detail, and knowledge of surgical protocols.
