This role will be responsible for ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of our critical applications and systems.

You will work closely with development teams, architects, and other stakeholders to design, execute, and analyze performance tests, identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, and optimize system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive performance tests, including load tests, stress tests, endurance tests, and soak tests.
  • Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks and root causes of performance issues.
  • Generate comprehensive performance reports with clear and concise findings and recommendations.
  • Work with development teams to implement performance improvements and optimizations.
  • Develop and maintain automated performance testing frameworks and scripts.
  • Integrate performance tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous performance monitoring and regression testing.
  • Monitor system performance using tools such as APM (Dynatrace, etc.), JVM monitoring, and log analysis (Splunk, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot performance issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Monitor database performance and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor system resources (e.g., CPU, memory, disk I/O) for virtual machines, cloud environments, containers (OpenShift), databases, and operating systems (Linux/Unix).
