Job Overview

The role of a Project Manager is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of mobile banking projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Managers oversee the end-to-end delivery of mobile banking projects, guaranteeing alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • They are responsible for managing project activities, including meetings, documentation, and risk registers.
  • Effective communication with internal teams and external vendors ensures timely and quality project delivery.
  • Compliance with bank regulations, data privacy laws, and cybersecurity standards is a top priority.
  • Stakeholder communication and change management activities across departments require collaboration and strategic planning.
  • Training sessions for staff and end-users must be arranged and overseen by the Project Manager.
  • Regular project updates and presentations to senior management and steering committees are essential for project success.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in Banking, Fintech, or IT sectors, with exposure to mobile banking and internet banking projects.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and mobile app release mechanisms.
  • Deep understanding of Scrum methodologies and Agile frameworks.
  • Knowledge of banking products, digital channels (especially Mobile and Internet Banking), and services.
  • Understanding of application architecture.
  • Hands-on experience as a Project Manager, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Practical exposure to DevOps (CICD) and cloud-based microservices projects.
  • PMP, Scrum, and Prince 2 certifications are highly desirable.
