Job Title: Technical Lead

Role Summary:

A technical lead is responsible for guiding software development teams and ensuring the timely delivery of projects. They work closely with clients to translate business requirements into technology specifications, formulate strategies for gathering functional requirements, and coordinate with architects to define technical architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technology specifications.
  • Requirements Gathering: Formulate strategies to gather functional requirements and document them in standard notations like use cases.
  • Technical Guidance: Guide teams in defining technical architecture, finalizing database schema, and coordinating with architects.
  • Team Management: Plan, allocate, and monitor the work of the development team, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Project Execution: Understand and implement effective project management methodologies, manage project scope, and handle change requests.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve processes and methodologies for project execution.
  • Version Control: Ensure proper versioning of applications and documents using open-source tools.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in developing web applications, banking applications, and managing projects.
  • Expertise in Core Java, Java 8, JSP, Servlets, Hibernate, iBATIS, and Design Patterns.
  • Experience with frameworks like Spring, databases like Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, DB2, application servers like JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere, web servers like Apache HTTP, IBM HIS, WebLogic iPlanet, Apache Tomcat, and technologies like Web Services, XML, SOAP.
