Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineering Lead to drive the design and architecture of our data foundation.

This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent collaboration skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

About the Position:

The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation, a customer-centric approach, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and maintain robust semantic layers and modular dbt pipelines.
  • Own schema design, documentation, and data contracts across analytics and application layers.
  • Define and enforce data platform best practices, versioning, and governance for all data models.
  • Implement data testing, observability, and quality automation to ensure confidence at scale.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in backend or data engineering roles.
  • Deep expertise designing and maintaining normalized and dimensional data models.
  • Advanced skills in dbt (macros, packages, tests, modularization, docs).
  • Expertise in SQL, with a focus on PostgreSQL.
  • Strong Python scripting for transformation logic and automation.

The successful candidate will be able to develop scalable data models, define data platform strategy, and implement best practices for data governance, quality, and testing.

They will also lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs.
