Are you a detail-driven professional with exceptional analytical skills? We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our team.

Job Description:

  • Manage and optimize direct mail marketing performance for credit bureau partnerships.
  • Own the end-to-end targeting and campaign selection process.
  • Combine data analysis with strategic business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Campaign Targeting & Selection: Identify target customers for direct mail campaigns using SQL.
  2. Pull and prepare data: Evaluate historical performance metrics and make informed selections for upcoming campaigns.
  3. Performance Analysis & Optimization: Maintain and monitor performance metrics, identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  4. Business Decision-Making: Use data-driven insights to influence credit policy and campaign execution.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in a consumer lending financial services company managing portfolio performance.
  • Business Acumen: Proven track record of interpreting data within a business context.
  • Technical Skills:
    • SQL – Proficiency in writing complex queries.
    • Excel – Advanced skills, including pivot tables and data visualization.
    • Python – Ability to run underwriting models to score customer populations.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to identify performance drivers and develop actionable recommendations.

Preferred/Plus Factors:

  • Experience with direct mail marketing in a financial services context.
  • Familiarity with credit bureau data and segmentation strategies.
