Job Summary

A skilled professional is sought to develop and design new mechanical products.

About the Role:

  • Create innovative mechanical designs, from concept creation to detail design and modeling using CAD tools.
  • Expertise in managing complex assemblies and simplified reps is essential.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including machined and sheetmetal components, as well as GD&T.
  • Proficiency in PDM/PLM tools and Bill of Materials is required.
  • Provide solutions to new concept designs and prepare BOMs, manufacturing drawings, and drawing standards.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-12 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably with a focus on NPD.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals, including design calculations and SPM.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools like Creo, Unigraphics, and Inventor, as well as PLM tools like Teamcenter.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing methods, material selection, and welding processes is essential.
